Addison's first Mother's Day

Mother's Day could arguably be the best day of the year!

Daddy made a nice breakfast for the family, and Mommy opened cards and presents. Mommy received a pendant that will be passed down to Addison since this is the first Mother's Day after Addison's birth. (Mommy received earrings the first Mother's Day after Aubrey's birth that will be passed down to her.)

Afterwards, we went to our former church (in coordinating outfits, of course) where Addison was being honored by the United Methodist Women since we were still members of that church when Addison was born.

Mommy is so proud of her beautiful little girls and is so blessed and thankful to be home with them everyday.

Later that evening, Aubrey painted a special picture just for Mommy.

The day ended unexpectedly, but delightfully when the air conditioner went out on our main living floor, prompting all four of us to sleep in the queen-size, spare bed upstairs. Mommy was happy to be surrounded by her little girls.
