Summer visits to Grandmama and Granddaddy's house are the best!
Grandmama gave the girls some little princesses and other dolls as soon as they walked in the door - - and Addison didn't let hers go the entire visit......
well, maybe to get into the pool for a while.
Aubrey couldn't wait to show Grandmama and Granddaddy what she had learned to do at swimming
lessons - -
like jumping and splashing into the water without goggles or holding her nose.
Aubrey and Daddy spent many hours in the pool together.
She went underwater at least 100 times.
Her favorite thing to do was go all the way under and walk on the bottom of the pool with Daddy.
She also practiced swimming while wearing her ducky float.
By the end of our visit, Aubrey was jumping into the pool by herself, although she had to have the ducky float to help her get back up to the top.
Addison clapped for Aubrey every time she jumped in the water.
Mommy supervised poolside.
My cutie-pies are drying off in the sun.
Grandmama played hairstylist with Addison,
watched movies with the girls,
and shared a bed with Aubrey.
Granddaddy tried to get one of their cats to say hello to the girls.
Aubrey enjoyed her morning orange juice on the porch swing with Granddaddy.
Addison is caught with a handful of dolls and Grandmama shoes.
Our little Addison impressed Grandmama by vacuuming under the table.
