Addison is a "big-girl" now

Addison copies everything that Aubrey does so it was no surprise when she wanted to sit on the potty just like her big sister.  She'd been doing that off and on for a while (usually with her clothes on), but decided one evening to take her clothes off.  To our surprise, she did it!  Then the next morning, she did it again!  So I cleared our schedule for the week and focused on encouraging Addison.

We spent the next several days on the screened-in porch (with ceiling fan and small tv) so that Addison could use the potty seat without concern for accidents.

Addison received a sticker for every time she used the potty.

After receiving a set number of stickers, she would receive a surprise (little toys and such picked up throughout the year specifically to be used as surprises). 

Once she mastered potty-training, we took her to pick out some big girl undies.  She chose Rapunzal underwear.  For the first time in 4 1/2 years, we do not have a child in diapers.
