For weeks, we had planned to visit Mommy's friend, Jenny Baumgartner and family (including 3-year old twins, Grace and Chance - http://www.baumtwins.blogspot.com/) in Charleston, SC. Unfortunately, just a few days before, we had to postpone our trip to another time. So in lieu of our beach vacation, we took the girls to the GA Aquarium (www.georgiaaquarium.org/) - a first time for us all.

The number of exhibits were a little overwhelming - - and so were the crowds of people.

Mommy couldn't get enough of the enormous Beluga Whale.
Sea otters

One of the girls' favorite exhibits was the penguins. We could hear the penguins over a loud-speaker making a honking or growling sound. Addison started copying them very loudly - - it was hilarious!

We enjoyed a 4-D movie that had a "Nemo"-type character.

Another one of our favorites was the fish tunnel. The girls liked pointing out the really big ones such as the sharks and sting-rays (Aubrey's favorite).

But in true 3-year old fashion, Aubrey was most entertained by the air vents that blew up her pants and shirt.

Mommy tried so hard to capture the beauty of the jelly-fish and other marine life.

Another exhibit lets you touch the stingrays, but we're too germaphobic with our girls.
The best, best, best part of the trip was this sea turtle. First, he was resting in the corner so we took a picture with Aubrey. Then he started diving up and down in front of the girls. There was almost no one else around so we had this amazing moment all to ourselves.
