Oh Lordy, Mommy's now 40!
The morning of Mommy's 40th birthday, the girls gave me cards and games for us to play together.
Mommy is trying to get a kiss from Aubrey after blowing out the candles on my chocolate chip cookie cake. (Note the Minnie Mouse balloon that Aubrey picked out and the flowers from Jeff.)
The following Saturday, we drove to North Augusta where Daddy, Nana, and Grandpa were hosting a 40th birthday party for Mommy.
Mommy was thrilled to see long-time friends (Amy and Jill), family, and in-laws who drove a long way to attend the party.
The other children in attendance danced and sang with Aubrey and Addison.
It was great to visit with friends from Mommy's home church (St. Luke UMC in Augusta) who were a part of my life growing up.

Nana worked very hard to make a slide-show of pictures highlighting Mommy's 40 years. The photo on the left is Mommy; the photo on the right is Addison close to the same age.
Aubrey and Makayla enjoyed playing dolls together after the party.
One of Mommy's friends (and bridesmaid), Karen, enjoyed meeting the girls for the first time.
