Golfing, bowling, jumping, and eating out

As mentioned in a previous post (below this one), we've been trying to get back into the groove of enjoying some more family activities now that Addison is getting older. Our Wednesday night "home groups" (i.e. small church groups which are kind of like Sunday school classes) took a break for the summer, so we've had a few, free Wednesday evenings to participate in other activities - - plus the weeknight activities are cheaper and less crowded. We've gone to Putt 'N' Play, Oasis Bowl, and Dream Jumpers, usually followed by a free kids meal at Moe's (Mexican) or Kellie's Home Cooking. (No photos this time of jumping or eating out.)

This was Aubrey's first time to play miniature golf. It was located indoors and had lots of cute themes and obstacles for each hole. Most of the time, Aubrey would sit on the floor and hit or push the ball in - - much more like pool than golf.
The "digital delay" on our camera actually worked to my advantage this time - - I snapped this shot while trying to get a different one......cheater!
Daddy sacrificed his low score to help Addison enjoy the game, too.

Addison is trying to help Daddy get a hole-in-one.

Mommy helped Aubrey bowl the first few times, then she wanted to do it all by herself.

If you're wondering what Addison did while we bowled.....zzzzzzzzzzzzz. Each game was $1.59 if paid for by 5:00pm, so we went during Addison's late afternoon nap. It's hard to believe she slept through all of the noise.
