Another summer visit with the Bowers'

At the end of August, we enjoyed another wonderful visit with Grandmama and Granddaddy Bowers. We had hoped to get in the pool one last time, but the rain from the previous week made the pool a little too chilly for our taste.
We still had a great time playing, reading, exploring, and laughing.

Aubrey loves reading books with Grandmama, especially when it's interupted by some feet-tickling.
Addison showed them how she is starting to like to read, too.
Aubrey showed Grandmama how she likes to help Addison walk and dance.

Aubrey and Daddy went exploring in the woods (well really, along the gravel driveway) to see what she could find. Rocks are her favorite.

She showed Grandmama and Granddaddy all of the neat things she found.

One of things the girls enjoyed most during this visit was going for rides on Grandmama's new automatic recliner. By the end of our visit, Aubrey had figured out how to work it by herself.

Aubrey can always count on getting some ice cream when she visits Grandmama and Granddaddy.

"Hey, where's my ice cream?!"
