"Synergy 2010" - Servant Evangelism

Our church, www.anchorholds.org/, set aside one entire week to engage in various ministries and provide services to members of the community such as: house repairs for a widow, community-wide family movie night, donations and service at the South Gwinnett Co-op and Crisis Pregnancy Center, "Wacky Olympics" at Grayson Park, distribution of water bottles at Bay Creek Park, and window-washing at local businesses, to name a few.
Mommy and the girls participated in the window-washing (no pics of the girls since they stayed in the car watching a video most of the time due to safety concerns in the parking lots).
Our pastor, Steve Hammack, is the one washing the windows above, and there's a glimpse of the back of Aubrey on the sidewalk.
It was a great opportunity to witness to the girls on the importance of serving others and for Mommy to be able to connect with some additional Anchor Church members.

Hi,

My name is Christine and I am with WayMakers in Austin, TX. I have a time-sensitive request for you!

We are the ministry who puts together the prayer guide (booklet) for Global Day of Prayer, and we are working on the one for GDOP 2011 right now. We searched online for photos, and we would love to use the window washing photo you posted here!

The photo demonstrates people coming together to serve others. This idea is a great example of what we encourage people to do during GDOP’s 90 Days of Blessing (June 13-September 10, 2011).

We are seeking your permission to use this photo in the prayer guide. We are also happy to include the photographer's name in our photo credits section. If you grant permission, we would like to have the highest resolution possible because this will be printed.

We are on a very tight publishing deadline. We would like to hear from you by tomorrow if possible. Will you contact me as soon as possible and let me know if we have your permission to publish this photo in the booklet, or if you have any questions? You can reach me at christine@waymakers.org or call our office at (800)264-5214.

Thank you so much for your time. I look forward to hearing from you soon!

Christine McAdams
