Valentine's Day

The ground was still covered in snow on Valentine's Day. We made heart-shaped cookies to enjoy by the fire with a cup of hot chocolate.

At breakfast, the girls received Valentine goody-bags. Aubrey's was filled with a play necklace and bracelet, a light-up heart pin and pencil, some valentines stamps, and stickers.

Addison received some stickers, her first crayons, and a pop-up book.

Mommy made a special breakfast of heart-shaped pancakes.

Addison enjoyed the cookies she helped to make.

Prior to Valentine's Day, Mommy and Aubrey made paper Valentine's to send to our family and friends. It was Aubrey's first time to use scissors to cut out the hearts she drew and glitter glue.
