Addison's 1st birthday party

For Addison's first birthday party, the tables were decorated with "all things Addison": some of our favorite photos, her "Baby's First Year" photo collage, her cherished Kitty, her hand print and baby bracelet, and the hair clip that she swallowed.

After a brief lunch, it was time to open presents - Addison was ready to get started!

In the first picture, Addison is showing her excitement/amazement at the electronic puppy (not pictured) that Grandmama and Granddaddy gave her. The second photo shows her animal train she received from Mommy and Daddy.

Nana and Grandpa Hamilton surprised Addison with a ride-on lion, and Aunt Beth, Mallory, and Makayla gave her a cheering basketball goal.

We still can't believe that she is "1."

Yummy....and very sticky.....

We are so thankful to have our extended families here to share the day with us.

We are most thankful to have Addison in our lives (considering her two major accidents this year), and that Aunt Beth was doing well enough from her heart surgery to share in this milestone.
